Third Sector Insight is led by Ed Holloway, an experienced charity leader. Ed has built a career in the charity sector over 20+ years, most recently as CEO of a leading benevolent fund.
He's been fortunate to have led a diverse range of functions - including research, organisational strategy, digital and services. He's been responsible for teams of 80+ staff, thousands of volunteers, and multi-million pound budgets. That experience has given him a real insight into how charities work, and most importantly how they can best use their resources to achieve transformational impact for the communities they serve.
Up until recently he's spent his whole career working in a series of full-time, permanent roles. But with his young children now both settled at school, he's decided to do something different and to step away from permanent employment to work with a broader range of organisations on a consultancy basis.
He's hoping that this will enable him to do what he does best - applying his skills and experience to tackling complex, strategic questions that really make a difference to charities and their beneficiaries.
